WHO would’ve thought that the collage I taped on the backside of my sketchbook in year 8 become the headcover of my very own website…. I DIDNT (neither did my math teacher who was very disturbed by me doing this in her class but her and my relationship is a whole other story LOL). HERE WE ARE. I’m a bit shaky writing this. I literally launched this website 40 minutes ago.

The last 40 minutes I spent sending everyone who wouldn’t get tooooo annoyed at me the link of this page and creating multiple stories and posts for my two instagram accounts (@sonnisue & @amazingforaminute). I haven’t figured out what and how I’m going to be working with the two pages in future, for now afam (get used to it, writing out amazing for a minute every single times tires my fingers) was to have a vent, to scream my thoughts into the world with no judgement of users following my personal ig page. You know, those boys and girls that have followed you since the beginning of instagram because they know you but they really aren’t very interested in your emotional blabber very much..

I started it at the end of last year when depression was clouding my head and I felt like I needed to open a clogged pipe. Recently that feeling reoccurred, but this time mixed with the pressure of finally doing something that has actual life potential, something I could be growing alongside doing off-screen life and what I could potentially build a life with somehow. The instagram page felt and still feels like my cozy safe place and I wanted to do something bigger, also challenge my creativity and skills more and next thing I know I’m elbow deep in guidelines and tutorials of building one’s own website. I still have three weeks of my semester break left and for now the job front isn’t looking too good, so I’m going to direct all my energy to this.. and singing! Cause that’s also something I really want to do (and have always done) — but again, going bigger this time.
